Laini grew up acting, dancing, writing and playing in the beautiful north suburbs of Chicago, surrounded by woods, lake and curiosity. Laini studied ballet and modern dance with Dance Center Evanston, played make believe with friends in the forest preserve close to her home, and acted on the stage of the Children’s Theater of Winnetka. She studied with the Meisner Studio at NYU Tisch for three years, and is excited to graduate this Fall, with a BFA in Drama and a minor in Children and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Laini is passionate about the strange and absurd elements of the theatrical world and seeks to create art that both connects and encourages reflection. Laini believes deeply in the ever-present spirit of youth and imagination present in the pursuit of artistic collaboration.
